In last night’s Italian Cup final, Napoli won the cup, beating Juventus 4-2 in penalty shootouts after 0-0 in normal time.
The 73rd Cup final was played without fans at the Rome Olympic Stadium.
In accordance with the measures taken due to coronavirus, the match was not played overtime and penalties were passed directly in the final match.
With the first whistle of the encounter, Juventus became the printed starter. Napoli stabilised the game after the 20th minute. In the final minutes of the first half, despite Napoli’s dangerous positions, the half ended with a goalless tie.
In the second half of the match, both teams were playing in a controlled manner , napoli near the final whistle – Buffon and the fight ended with a 0-0 tie when the pole failed to pass.
Napoli’s 4-2 win over giant rivals Juventus was the side that took the trophy back to the museum after the 2013-2014 season. Napoli extended the Italian Cup to six.
