Formula One’s Legendary Name Returns

Fernando Alonso returns to Formula 1. The 38-year-old Spanish pilot returns to his home by agreeing with Renault for the 2021 season.

Alonso, who will be his teammate with Esteban Econ next season, stated that the first offers for his return to Formula 1 came in the first 5 races of the season. He explained that they had their first meetings with Renault in November.

Fernando Alonso, who won two world championships with Renault in the 2005 and 2006 seasons, said goodbye to F1 in 2018 and participated in the Indianapolis 500 races.

Lewis Hamilton stated that Alonso will return in the 2021 season and said, “I have no doubt that Fernando will be a lot of jerseys.”
