Roger Federer Announces Plans for 2021

On the podcast “The Roger”, Roger Federer made statements about his plans for the future.

After the 2020 Tokyo Olympics were postponed until 2021 due to pandemic, Japanese fans from Tokyo asked about their Olympic plans.

Federer, who is excited for the Olympics, said he would be very happy to go to Tokyo in 2021.

Federer said, “I love going to Tokyo, it’s a great city. I’m so excited to go there. Obviously, the postponement of the Olympics due to pandemic was a huge disappointment for all athletes and we hope it will happen next year. My goal is to be a part of the Olympics. The Olympics have always been an incredible experience for me.”

Federer, who wants to add the men’s singles gold medal at the Olympics to his collection, will be 40 on August 8, 2021, the last day of the Tokyo Olympics.
