Federer, the Switzerland tennis player in the men’s world rankings, has announced that he will not be able to continue in the 2020 season due to a knee injury.
Federer, the tennis player with the most grand slam titles in the 20 singles tournaments he won , had surgery on his right knee again after February.
Roger Federer said on his official Twitter account: ‘I had another operation after the rehabilitation process of my right knee deteriorated. As I did in 2017, I’m giving myself time to play high-level tennis and until I’m 100 percent ready.
The 38-year-old tennis player – who last stepped out on January 30, when he lost to Novak Djokovic in the Australian Open semi-finals.
